We start the Carpathia Investing Club live event series with a very interesting topic: real estate investing.
We are all thinking about whether or not it is worth buying a property, what are the real estate prospects, what is the price appreciation outlook and how much can you earn if you rent your property.
On Thursday, our club members will meet 𝐆𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐁𝐨𝐜𝐚 (real estate developer and investor) and 𝐀𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐥 (founder of Koncept Imobiliare), in order to find our more about the local real estate market and the benefits you can get as a real estate investor. The meeting will be hosted by Flavian-Catalin Pah (CIC Founder).
In the last 10 years, the Romanian real estate market was definitely a place to be for any investor! With low interest rate and a high demand for new buildings, the year-to-year price appreciation in real estate assets went between 10-15%. In cities like Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi or Timisoara, the appreciation was even bigger, thanks to an offer that could not keep up the pace with the demand. The growth in IT and outsourced services had a natural impact on the real estate market, with individual investors piling up more than 2 or 3 properties, built up or bought mainly for capital appreciation and cashflow from renting.
With the recent increase in interest rate and with higher construction costs, is real estate investing still a thing to do? Join our event and find out if the local market still has some opportunities.
